Jon Ugarriza has worked with the Victor Ullate Ballet, Zaragoza Ballet, English NationalBallet, Tetsuya Kumakawa K- Ballet Tokyo (Japan), the National Ballet of Portugal, DeutscheOper Berlin, Staatsballet Berlin and Ballet Theater Basel in Switzerland.
As a choreographer he has developed pieces for top performers at the Royal Ballet, English National Ballet, Staats Ballet Berlin, Opéra de Nice, Ballerische Staatsoper, Joffrey Ballet in Chicago and the New York City Ballet.
Jon has a degree in Choreography and Dance Technique Performance from the Ministry of Education in Spain and the American Ballet Theatre® National Training Curriculum in New York.
Also has been member of the Jury in Diputación Foral de Bizkaia, Concours International de Danse Classique de Grasse in France, PRIDANSP Prêmio Internacional de Dança de São Paulo, San Remo dance Festival in Italy, AEAFC Prix d ́ Europe in China and Deputy Artistic Director from Prix du Nord in Sweden.
